I’m here because I am from Ecuador and like my fellow South Americans, this is a country we pretty much never hear anything about or see any footage of, and it’s in our own side of the world! Very cool video. Keep up the good work!

Richard, I respect you guys for taking us all on a guided tour of countries, its enlightening and is real, and you are not a 'wimp' in the british sense, anyone who walks around confidently with a pleasant attitude to fellow human beings and you are spending money in their country, keep them coming and thanks for the peak into other parts of the world from a proper tourist prospective not a fabricated tourist guide, enjoy.

I am from one of the islands (know that Guyana is not an island but has the island "vibes", ha ha) and am really enjoying these tours and street walk-abouts. Please keep them coming. One thing of note in the market areas is that although there is much vending on the streets (don't know if it is illegal or not) and some congestion, there is no overwhelming sense of dis-order and streets are generally litter/garbage-free.

Yes, I know. I'm Jamaican from Flatbush Brooklyn. It seems that many many other west indian islands hate Jamaica. But i think it is from a certain type of jealousy they don't wanna admit to. But its okay. I don't feel no way or hate nobody or no island. You will always be hated by people when you are the trend setter. But Guyanese ain't so bad. I get along with all Guyanese people i know. I've seen worse. Trinidadians and Bajan's seem to be the worst one's to me. But its okay. Irie.

Some people have poor to no critical thinking. All they can do is put people down with emotional statements. We need critical thinking for the human species to succeed, so don't worry about those people who call you names like "wimp". Just keep on growing and developing your life, and that's the best revenge against those vain people that go backwards. BTW: The sound is amazing. I have my headphones on today, and it gets the directionality and distance of the sound really well.

Thanks for the comment. A video with KZbin tips said that I should listen to my videos with headphones to edit them better. I guess that is true. I mount a Zoom H1 to my camera stick and it records the audio in true stereo as you would see it. I think this is what is making the big difference.

@ JohnVines. Fast food is not healthy. It will raise your cholesterol which will lead to congestive hear failure. Go natural. Cook your own food. Eat the many fruits and veggies that are there . And try some deer meat.

You know when i saw the headline '' walking the streets of Guyana'' i though okay this might very interesting. And it was, for a while, until i read the comments. It was very sad to read ignorance people comment on about this beautiful country, which by the way is only showed 1% of the country. Judging an entire country and it's people by filming a few Streets in Georgetown is ignorant.

Guyana is too small. The problem here is that there is very little other than Georgetown. I guess there’s the small beach towns, the unvisitable jungle and Mabaruma. And Mabaruma is practically the same as Georgetown.
