Thanks Vince, it took a whole year to get Callum back on camera, think he is still growing :) His first video with the Drone, hope it did not make anyone feel a bit queasy. He took some footage in Scotland that was amazing, sadly he is not uploading it... you never know

Arguably the quietest and chill spot in Luton. Not many people go there.

Its a nice place to stretch the legs, although i suspect it will be interesting to see how peaceful it stays when the new Distribution Warehouse opens!

Thank you Gavin and Callum for another excellent video, really enjoyed it, as usual. Use of the drone has added massively to the enjoyment of the video. Look forward to the next one.

Thanks Gina, hopefully Callum will film some more the next time he comes with us... Hopefully it wont take him another year to join us, as i have not got a license to fly the drone, and would probably crash it anyway!

Thanks Ireti, glad you like the video, Callum did well with the drone, although I think some people think he was filming without a drone as he is so tall compared to me :)

Another great video, very interesting to see the changes. The important questions, has Callum been fed? Has Callum got new gloves? 😁 Callum needs to do more videos, he may wear his legs down and be more your height Gavin 😀. Great drone footage

Keep up the good work. This part of the world has a lot of history that never gets the exposure it deserves. I don't think you are going to run out of material.

@@gepxplore9710 The hard part is tying everything together so you get a complete video out of it. Markyate looks a possibility. Besides the filming of the Dirty Dozen and the ties to the Wicked Lady (also a film) you have the source of the Little Ver nearby. The wiki (and google maps) calls it the Ver (incorrect) and talks of flooding but it's been dry for most of it's length ever since they built the pumping station. People have long memories though and at least one of the local farmers keeps the old river bed well dredged. Who knows. Even after noahs ark levels of rainfall I have never seen it flow. Nearby is a stretch of Watling Street that was bypassed donkeys years ago. It has it's own milestone. Folllow that and you come out at the mostly disused services at Flamstead and what was once the Chequers pub. Once upon a time if you were to take a right and go up the hill into Flamstead proper you would have been treated to the sight of a very large scale model steam train outside the owners house. Sadly and predictably it was stolen a few years ago. As I recall for two weeks every year Flamstead has a scarecrow festival. Very unusual and worth checking out.

Hi Robert. Thanks for responding. This is an excellent suggestion. Been looking at your suggestion. I like it 👍👍👍 added to my list. And will try to put it into a walk in the warmer months. Brilliant 😊😊😊

@@gepxplore9710 No problem. As I recall there were a couple of accidents outside the Chequers. This was the early days of motor vehicles before there was a proper highway code. If I find the relevant links/pictures I'll post them here. At least one involved a horse and cart with a predictable outcome for the horse.
