Thanks Zameer for the long way. 35 years ago there was no sidewalk there. I was in the Hotel Tsagarakis to start different tours from there, Knossos, Heraklion, the museums etc. I remember that we discovered a tavern between the main street and the beach where there was no menu. We were shown straight into the kitchen and mom proudly opened all the pots ... it was delicious and so thanks again for this memory :-)

Paradise with cold sea in the summer,windy all over the time,cold nights and pebble,stones in the water.Crete is definitely not paradise island.

I just subscribed to your channel. I love Crete and holidayed there a lot when I was kid, I was supposed come back for a holiday this year but it got cancelled but your videos are keeping me going until I can fly over next year
