Since I’m from here, it’s nice of you to upload the wonders of Bath, because most people just think of it for the Abbey and Roman Baths!

My daughter studied at Bath University. I used to travel down to see her, have tea at Bilbos and sit by the weir with a sandwich. Have tea in the abbey tearooms and later watch the performers in the square. Those were the days. I wish that you had gone to the area where the theatre is - we used to enjoy many a happy evening with supper afterwards. Thanks for the memories.

Not gonna lie, watching the two derrieres in white dresses was a highlight. Bath, strangely, is a city centre I've covered nigh on every inch by foot, over the year-or-two I lived nearby - yet can't say I exactly 'know' the place. I could (and did) get lost. Full disclosure: the strangeness quotient is more attributable to me than Bath. Addled memories but it obviously has a charm for me. I applaud the local denizens and council on the abundance of shopping and dining facilities, dedicated seating areas, general cleanliness and decorative touches. That 'insect farm' exhibit is quaintly beautiful. However ... red telephone boxes bursting with flora is a flourish too far. One might be considered art; several is an oppressive symbol of ostentatious pride over practical purpose. A sore thumb. Two beautiful elements forced into arranged marriage with no gain-of-function.

Hey, it has been a while since I tuned in last time. This is another great walk! By the way, I saw that you used the Osmo Pocket 1 here instead of the v2. Do you also feel that v1 offers better image quality? I think it’s more crisp, and has less smudged details. Anyways, greetings from a fellow walking channel from Germany & Japan.
@WatchedWalker3 жыл бұрын
Hello JP, nice to hear from you. I can't say I've noticed the v2 being less crisp, though I prefer to use the v2 due to the better low light performance and wider fov. This video was filmed before I bought the v2, I don't tend to use the v1 much anymore. I hope things are going well for you and your channel, all the best.
@JapanPotato3 жыл бұрын
@@WatchedWalker Hello WW, glad to hear back from you. I also prefer to use the v2 in lowlight (with 4K 30fps settings), but for daylight I noticed a bit of detail loss compared to v1. On the other side the wider fov is really nice. Thanks, things are going well so far, the performance of my channel took a bit of a nose dive in the past few months but I guess that is normal. I still love filming and uploading frequently, which is most important. Soon there will be also new videos from Tokyo. I also hope things are going well for you and your channel. It would be nice if we can be Walker Friends someday! There sure must be some people in my audience interested in videos from London and other areas you covered and vice versa. All the best!

A lovely calm, fly on the wall film. A clever mix of 2021, 2020, maybe even quite a bit of late summer/early autumn 2019. Pre-Covid. Sadly, some of the stores shown, didn't survive into 2021. Lack of face masks, if it's 2021. Clothing: possibly filmed in summer, or late summer. Mid/late afternoon by the angle of the sun. School uniforms worn in Southgate = July or September filming? Look right... Look left... When crossing roads and paths...please film the crossings.
