I’ve lived in Belfast since 2015 and even in that time I’ve seen it evolve and develop. Great night life, great restaurants and great people. It’s an up and coming City and one of the most underrated in the UK - my family love coming to visit from England. People are now realising that there’s nothing to fear from coming here, and although its great to see the vast amount of tourists that come here now - I’m afraid it is negatively affecting prices and I think soon we will be getting robbed blind for pints etc as happens in Dublin. Enjoy this hidden gem whilst it last folks.

One of the highest crime rates in any UK city.. one of the highest crime rates against tourists in any UK city .. this "gem" wud benefits from a United Ireland as it would stop the silly marching and bigotry that comes with it then and only then would belfast become a GEM
@FannyShmellar3 жыл бұрын
D Cog What a load of cobblers. I’ve lived all around the UK including Liverpool and Manchester, and I can say for a fine fact that Belfast is by the most relaxed out of all of those. Not once have I felt unsafe here. Your point about the marches, they happen a few days a year and mostly in working class areas where tourists don’t go. Belfast is a relaxed chilled out place, very welcoming of tourists. You just sound like a bitter old man with an agenda about a United Ireland. Fact is, if a United Ireland happened the peace would well and truly be broken here - whether you like that or not. We would return to the dark days and nobody wants that. That’s the main reason it won’t happen any time soon, people just want to get on with their lives normally and are enjoying giving their children a normal life - something they never had. To anybody else reading this bitter man’s comments, don’t believe a word. Come along to Belfast and experience it for yourself, it’s a cracking City with much to offer everybody. You won’t be disappointed.

Interesting time-travelling back to mid-lat September 2019 ;D So much potentia, and yet it's utterly dominated with noisey roads and cars being driven and parked all over the place - even on a relatively quiet evening.

@@joemcconnell2674 couldn't be any more realistic , look deeper you'll find a harrowing heroin problem in the city, which is destroying lives everyday , not to mention the homelessness which is worse now than it was during the 70s and 80s, while there are beautiful places around Belfast, there are others that look places in a slum dog India, with rubbish and waste strewn everywhere , hazardous materials left to decompose in the elements, honestly the list goes on, but why did we not see this in video, i understand people like to see nice things but they also need to be aware of the REAL situation before things can improve , you have a nice day now

Great video, juxtaposing the elegance of old architecture next to modern but ugly newer buildings is great. Your German videos are the best and I am sure you haven’t exhausted all the medium cities yet. One suggestion - please consider some text when showing the important landmarks in a city.
@poptravelorg3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! As of today I have around 50 more videos from Germany to post though I estimate to have 90%+ of the major Germany cities - as well as a lot of smaller ones. For the UK/Ireland I guess I'll also have most major places. Some larger cities appear several times over the year with different routes / weather etc.. I hope to get back to the UK sometime soon - preferably during summer. Showing text and even a map is on a list for a long time, though I'll put that on another channel. The thing is that I upload the videos while traveling. This is good for safety/backup in case data get lost. There is no time to add text or do any editing at the end of the day. The amount of videos here - 100+ per year is too large to "enhance" working solo and as a hobby. Now at home I could surely add subtitles though I don't want to re-upload and change this video format. Therefore a new channel will eventually be announced where edited and enhanced tours will be posted. It will take another few weeks though I'll make sure that video descriptions also point to the channel then. Thanks for watching!
