Thank you for taking the time to walk. I thought I enjoyed the Appalachian Projects tours, and they are nice, but he drives and after viewing your videos, I’m hooked! So much better to see things up close and personal. I bet you’re in great shape! I need to get off my fanny and video my town in Kentucky. 😂

The blue house with the tin man hanging from the porch with the double screen doors has always been my favorite. 2nd would be Mr. Itmann's house bc I love the rounded porch.

Rita Larch do people live there or is a ghost town?
@missrita18264 жыл бұрын
@@kingjojo142 Both. Like lots and lots of little towns in West Virginia they are either little or no people living in them because of coal mining towns. Like going through Pylmouth (coal mining) no people what so ever where as long ago a lot of people. Take Nitro, WV a few miles away from Plymouth, where tones of people used to live they used to walk shoulder to shoulder and now getting to be a lonely little town. Nitro got it's name back in war time where they name nitroglycerin for the army. No coal, no work, no towns. Sad.

This little town is making a come back. They now have a Mexican restaurant and a nice old diner on the corner with great food. The town is very much alive. People still live there and the old church still has beautiful weddings there. Live music also right around the corner at Trail 10
