Chelteham is a town not too big, not too small, where there must be everything to live happily. Chelteham seems very pleasant to me. A beautiful city and beautifully decorated for the end of year celebrations. Very pleasant walk. Thank you friend OAAW 😀😀😀😀😀

‘Tis the season to watch Christmas walks- and I had not seen this one before. It was very nice! You had a good time to walk: most shops had closed (or were in the process of closing) for the day, so you didn’t have to contend with crowds- yet there were enough people out and about to add interest. The Christmas lights and the reflections on the wet pavement looked lovely. I enjoyed a lengthy walk in our own neighborhood last night, observing the lights that folks have put up. Alas, it was not as picturesque as this village was- but it was pleasant enough. How are your new videos for this channel coming along? I hope you are making good progress- and I hope that you are doing well, also. :)

Hello Janet. Christmas seems to be coming around faster with every passing year. That sounds like a very nice evening walk that you had. Whenever you tell me about your walk I always try to visualise it in my head (mostly based on US walking videos that I have watched here on YT). Everything is going good, in fact as I am writing this I am listening through headphones to a composition that I am working on called 'Lonely Shadow', whilst also watching other tuber's night walks in the rain (earphones + headphones to listen to both formats at the same time :)). I have had it on repeat for the past couple of hours (having a very lazy Sunday), I simply cannot stop listening to it as it so peaceful and calming. Musically speaking tho, my direction has now changed as I have returned to what I feel I am best at, which is a more ambient sound. I seem to be now finally developing my signature sound, which connects rather nicely with the visuals that I have been busy stocking up on :) Thanks for your lovely comment and continued support. All the very best to you both. OAAW

@@OutandaboutWalking I did have a nice walk, and as I am endeavoring to consistently take longer walks, I was pleased to read on my phone’s step/mileage counter that I had attained 4 miles yesterday. Yaay! :) The feeling is always so great after having a good walk! Our immediate neighborhood- though a pleasant place to live- is probably not like most US walking channels you have seen (though I don’t actually know, as I have only watched English and Scottish walks). The sections of our town with the very oldest homes (old by US standards but young by UK ones) is the prettiest part of our town….huge old homes with ornate carvings, gables, enormous porches, etc. Maybe next time I will take an even longer walk and get to that section. :) There is one town about 25 minutes away from here by car that I could honestly say rivals the English villages in charm. It contains all small, unique shops (no big chain stores), nifty architecture, lovely old homes, lots of historic stuff, and is quite near the lower Niagara River, with Canada in sight across the gorge. It is one of my favorite towns even to drive through, and someday when I have a bit more time, I will have to drive to there, park, and then have a walk. (This town is also exquisitely trimmed at Christmas time). I’m glad that you are finding the musical style of composition that feels the most comfortable for you. I have never really done any composing (and just one arrangement), and imagine that it must be tricky to capture in notes on a page what mood you desire, and what you are hearing in your own head. I look forward to both seeing and hearing your videos after they are fully completed. :)
