@@MomentaryStir The Hungarians and the Saxons built the most beautiful cities, fortresses, churches, castles, palaces and monuments-statues in all of Transylvania and western Romania! The Hungarians brought in the Germans, who later were all called Saxons, and the Hungarians organized these areas to such a level of development for more than eight hundred years! And yet you scold the Hungarians all the time, after getting rid of the Saxons and Swabians, now you want to drive the Hungarians away?! The fact that you are silent about these things and blatantly falsify history, because you did not speak about these things, will bring the wrath of God!

How long has this name Cluj-Napoca existed? And how long have Romanians lived in this ancient Hungarian city? Isn't this a Ceausist and Nationalist-Communist heritage which is now slyly silenced here?! This was an ancient Hungarian castle and city for a thousand years, whose ancient names were Kolozs and Kolozsvár! The city itself was formed in the first half of the 11th century, when the first Hungarian king Saint István made it the seat of the county of Kolozs. His castle was in the northwestern part of today's city center, one of its towers still remains. Around this time, King Saint László also founded the Kolozs Monastery Abbey. In 1241, the Mongols ravaged this city as well, so in 1272, the Hungarian king István V settled Saxons alongside the Hungarians to replace the population. King Sigismund ordered the settlement to be strengthened, and then in 1405 it became a free royal city! In the 15th century, the population of the castle was half Hungarian and half Saxon, but the surrounding villages were all inhabited by Hungarians, who moved to the city later. At this time, most of the townspeople were craftsmen and their assistants, who were organized into guilds. A small but strong merchant stratum was also formed, which won various privileges for itself. One of the greatest kings of the Hungarian kingdom, Matthias Corvinus, was born in this city, and today there are researchers who believe that his father, the great Turkish beater Hunyadi János, was also born here! During the time of the independent Principality of Transylvania, Kolozsvár's economy boomed, and the name "Treasured Kolozsvár" originates from this period, when the city was built and the castle walls were strengthened. Kolozsvár was the scene of several events of national importance, in 1551 it was here that Queen Isabella handed over the Hungarian crown to General Castaldo. István Bocskai was born here in 1557, who later became the prince of Transylvania and Hungary. Bocskai's birthplace is only a few steps away from Mátyás Hunyadi's birthplace. Hungarian princes Bethlen Gábor and Rákóczi György I. were elected here as Prince of Transylvania. In 1585, Báthory István founded Transylvania's first university here, which at the time was run by the Jesuits, and today it is considered the first university in the territory of present-day Romania, which the Romanians know nothing about! As well as the fact that a total of 37 parliaments were held in Kolozsvár during the principality's existence! In the 19th century, the population of Kolozsvár was still 90% Hungarian, but even after Trianon, it was a city inhabited by more than 70% Hungarians! And by now, they have already destroyed and driven away the Hungarians, especially with the intentional resettlement of many tens of thousands of Romanians of the last 50 years, that the Hungarian population is barely 12%, and the Romanians have been falsifying the history of the city ever since!

Still, there were always Hungarians, Romanians and Germans living in the city, why so much indirect hate? Do you see Swedes saying the same about a city in Finland? Or Germans about a city in Alsace, France? All civilised nations try to carry on
@flamantaflamo
@flamantaflamo Жыл бұрын
@@rusaa5293 But neither the Swedes nor the Germans are as xenophobic as the Romanians. There are not as many (Romanian) flags displayed in any country as in Romania, while if a Hungarian flag is sometimes displayed here and there on the occasion of holidays, it must be taken down immediately. This is ridiculous and petty. It is true that the Romanian language is related to the Latin language, but there is no evidence that they were here in Transylvania earlier than Hungarians. The Romanians migrated through Albania sometime in the 14th century. They started from southern Italy...

@@flamantaflamo This is just Hungarian and Austrian nonsense that you believe in order to show hatred towards Romanians, as always. Romanians’ first descendants are Dacians and then Romans came and a few other peoples which are Romanians today, so obviously they have always been here. You may want to say that Germans or Swedes are not as racist and xenophobic as Hungarians, because they are the violent irredentists over Transylvania, Slovakia, Vojvodina and most of Croatia. German minority in Alsace and Swedish minority in Finland behave nicely whereas many Hungarians don’t. And in Alsace, Germans don’t even have primary schools with first-language German. In Transylvania, Hungarians do. Hungarians no wonder why they are so depressive and frustrated, always have to be hateful towards everyone while other civilised nations accept the present and move on. Romanians would do that if Hungarians would stop with all this nationalistic nonsense and victim playing in Szeklerland. Romanians don’t care about Hungarians in general. Hungarians are fully allowed to celebrate their national day all over Transylvania. There are definitely Romanians who don’t agree and police force who might be disciminatory, but most Romanians don’t care.

@@rusaa5293 This children's tale keeps alive the belief that the Romanians are the descendants of the Dacians. The whole thing has no basis in reality, it's a big lie. Many learned western historians have already said that this is simply impossible....The whole theory is based on a lie. The Romanians immigrated to Transylvania after the Hungarians, no matter how hard it is for them to accept this.

@@flamantaflamo Rather the opposite, it’s Hungarian propaganda to support irredentism in Transylvania. Most Western anthropologists agree with that. Rather the opposite, Hungarians were in Asia when Romanians and their descendants were already on the territory in today’s Romania. You can continue crying over Transylvania, Croatia, Slovakia and Vojvodina, it was the right thing to do what happened especially after Hungarians opressed the people there for centuries.

The name of Cluj Napoca comes from the name Napoca a Dacian name which was used also by the Romans which built a castrum there and named it Municipium Aelum Hadrianum Napoca! The name Cluj comes from the Latin Castrum Clus which means a city built in a closed area. You guys stole the land from the Vlachs after you came from Asia! Nobody stole it from you! Trianon only agreed to the unification of Transylvania with Romania but the decision was made by referendum! Stop complaining about we taking anything from you!
