The videos are straight out of the camera. With the synced audiotrack the Osmo Pocket 4GB chunks are concatenated with QuickTime Player and exported as 4K from there. The bitrate with harware-accelerated encoding on the Mac (Intel Quick Sync Video) is around 38Mbit which is lower than KZbins recommended settings for 2160p60, yet enough. Post-processing is rare in my videos now. I did some improvements on the recent Singapore walk ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/m6fVh4t_qKiHp8k ) and it takes too long with my current hardware setup

Mal sehen...

Somebody tell is it any difference between Frankfurt Am Main and Frankfurt? It is the same city?
@poptravelorg3 жыл бұрын
There are two cities named Frankfurt in Germany: "Frankfurt am Main" (the larger one) and "Frankfurt an der Oder". Cities with the same name (Frankfurt) usually have their river-names (Main / Oder) as a differentiator. There are several walks in Frankfurt (main) here on POPtravel yet I haven't filmed a walk in Frankfurt (Oder) yet which may happen sometime soon. Frankfurt (Main) is _the_ Frankfurt so unless you say "Frankfurt Oder" the most famous Frankfurt (Main) is assumed.
For the video recording I'm using the DJI Osmo Pocket connected to a power-bank for long recordings. Using a 3D printed holder for the Zoom H1 microphone I can hold everything in one hand, as I take photos with my right hand as well. I'm pretty happy with the setup, just not the "bopping" (Z-axis movement) while walking. There is no easy solution to that. The video and audio get merged later, then Apple Quicktime merges + compresses them for a more manageable upload size. Once I pause traveling I'll put some website up also showing this rig.
