The way to seek it is to read God’s Word daily, pray without ceasing and enter into God’s rest by depending solely on God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. I will tell you that it is extremely challenging because we have been embedded with self, materialism, and all sorts of things that try to exalt themselves against the knowledge of God. Just as Dr. Charles Stanley said in this sermon, we have to totally submit and surrender. This means you may lose some things you hold dear and you gotta stop trying to have things your way even if it may seem right to you. With prayer, reading, meditation of God’s Word, and application of God’s Word, the Holy Spirit will help you to persevere through the valleys and keep you from pride when blessings come. God bless you and I know that if you are truly sincere in your willingness to serve God, He will do a great work in you. Not our will but His.

classyt20f7 Sister, there’s no possible way for you to lose His Spirit because it’s not you doing the work of sanctification, it is God. You were predestined and chosen by Him before the foundations of this world. He chose you, so He will keep you. God can not fail!!! Even when we are unfaithful God is still faithful. He swore by Himself (which is Jesus’ death on the cross and His resurrection), that He will complete the work He started in you. That was the blood covenant that God entered into by Himself which is His grace to you, me, and everyone who accepts it. It’s completed and reserved for you now and for all eternity. It’s not about your past mistakes, present and future failures for we all have fallen short of the glory of God. You have to believe against all odds and know that God will not lie to you. What He says He will do, He will definitely do it, even if it takes longer than we anticipate. Stay strong, continue praying even when you mess up, and keep reading His Word. I’ll be praying for you.
