Walking in KILKENNY / Ireland 🇮🇪- 4K 60fps (UHD)

Kilkenny is an iconic Irish town in the southeast of the country. We visit this historic place in typical Irish weather.
Starting at the medieval Kilkenny Castle (built in 1195 by Norman occupiers) we walk a bit on the Medieval Mile into the city centre.
Our tour continues to the see some old churches before returning to the castle. We end the walk in full rain at the Hurling statue, and we which is a specially Irish sport.

Great to hear! I even had a shorter stay - one night only in Kilkenny. It was a fantastic Ireland / UK trip though back in 2019. I remember the pub street with music and locals reciting poems in a pub at night. A new trip to that area is overdue so we'll see when that happens. I have done this walk many times ha ha but have never resisted a coffee and cake in cakeface along the way. Kilkenny is beautiful great people and music we will be back for a break there next week. Can't wait. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Henry! It's been 10 years since my last visit to Ireland and while I had almost no rain early September 2009, I still enjoy Ireland with the typical weather this time. It's a nice place and Kilkenny's pubs were especially fun. People were playing music or even reciting their own poem. One of the best memories of the short Ireland trip

well done! I suggest that when you get a junction show us all the four directions. and when you walk on the one side of the street some times show us the opposite side of the street cos the view is much nicer from distantce! best wishes!

I’ve never been to Ireland but I spent a month living in England, and I have to say both countries look extremely similar on the outside (the structure of the cities, the roads, the weather, the churches and graveyards, the general feel of the place). Great video!

Hola Walter, actualmente estoy subiendo 2-3 videos por semana y no tengo tiempo para hacer subtítulos. Estoy de acuerdo en que la información adicional mejoraría el canal. Tengo una idea de cómo posiblemente generar los subtítulos a partir de los datos del GPS, pero todavía tengo que implementarla. Veremos cómo va.
