Very interesting video because Kemi is my former hometown. I lived there for 16 years. Kemi has changed; there are a lot of new houses and everything looks more beautiful than before. And bonus: The weather was very beautiful! Thank you for this interesting video.

I have just returned from a short trip to Kemi (by train from Oulu) in February. All was icy... :)) Can you please tell me when the winter starts there, like when is the first snow coverage to be expected ? in Mid November ? Which time of the year (which calenderweek) would you recommend to experience "best of winter in Kemi" ? kiitos from Austria.

Kemissä on kuulemma näköalakahvila kaupungintalon katolla. Päivämäärästä päätellen se oli suljettu koronahömpötyksen takia. Olisi nimittäin ollut mielenkiintoista nähdä kävelyn joko alkavan tai loppuvan katolta avautuviin maisemiin.

No, it's just gravel put there during winter to make the icy streets less slippery. It will be cleaned up before summer.
