Walking In Rain For An Hour - Quiet Lanes & Countryside | Treadmill Walk

Relaxing virtual walk in the rain under an umbrella. Sounds of light rain turning to heavy rain, falling on umbrella and trees in the deep English autumn countryside. Hiking for over 1 hour - along peaceful narrow lanes down into the woods and up through the valley, then on to paths across the highest fields and pastures with beautiful rural scenery & views. 1 hour+ virtual nature video for sleep, relaxation, asmr, studying, meditation or treadmill workout. Lush country landscapes and rain noise. Recorded with a GoPro 7 camera in Worcestershire, England.

Really happy with how this video turned out - kind of addicted to watching it now even though I've done the real thing! Hope you enjoy the walk as much as me :) (Edit: decided in the end to cut the section with engine noise - this will make the image jump slightly at about 22 minutes, but I think it should make the video more relaxing overall. It was just my luck that a remote cottage had turned into a building site!)

Thanks so much Chris. I watch these in my office as I make many lengthy and important pastoral phone calls to people especially now in this Covid -19 season. I'm in Australia and your beautiful videos remind me of many wonderful walks in England we have enjoyed holidaying there. I'm definitely helped to stay very fresh and attentive in the process.

I really enjoyed it but my only issue was sometimes the umbrella got in the way of the view and it would have been nice to see the houses better but I don’t know if that’s a privacy issue or not

I have been several times in England with my wife, the last time in Peasmarsh, and i still dream about our walks in that surroundings, i felt so warm and cozy, for me England is my home...

Yes there is something very special about the English countryside. I have lived and travelled in other countries but am very happy where I am - well, except when I have to go for too long without sunshine.

If you mean in the second half of the video in the woods then I agree - I didn't realise it would all be so overgrown in places. Apologies that it makes the video less smooth to watch

I can't ponder too deeply because it actually takes a lot of concentration to make the video. So maybe it's more like meditation

@@ChrisPT I assume cause you need to make sure the camera is stabilized and you're capturing all the scenery

That sort of thing, and other stuff like trying to keep the umbrella higher than usual due to the camera being above my head, the resulting shoulder pain making me swap hands on the umbrella quite often which could disrupt the video unless I'm extra careful, not breathing too loudly or coughing or sniffing etc!!! Holding the umbrella tight so it doesn't rattle. Remembering not to make sudden movements like turning to look at something. Balancing the need for camera height against the risk of raindrops on the lens casing.... The list is endless! Quite a long answer but I guess other people might be interested to see it too haha. By the way I liked your latest video - keep up the sprinting vlogs :) Hopefully I'll be doing more soon too.
