@@jakubist4008 I am also a Pole. Learn history, how the USSR helped Poland rebuild Warsaw? It stole from Poland the eastern lands of the Ribentrop-Molotov Pact, and from the lands given to Poland, which belonged to the Germans before World War II, it robbed industry, took away entire factories, all equipment to the USSR and built its power on this - robbing all "liberated" countries. Even late after the war, Poland lacked goods and people stood for bread for several hours because a large part of it was stolen by the USSR.
@nielllubieRS3 жыл бұрын
@@jakubist4008 The Soviets didn't let the Poles rebuild Warsaw how they wanted to. Many pre-war buildings were not rebuilt, instead Warsaw got those ugly commie blocks. Pre-war Warsaw was called Little Paris, or Paris of the East. There was even a plan to rebuild whole Warsaw with the Polish-style architecture, but nooo, all they got is that "palace", a copy of the Seven Sisters from Moscow.

I love Poland and as a German I‘m ashamed of how much Warsaw got destroyed by us even tho it’s not my fault (born in 2000s). At the same time all our cities in Germany also got pretty much bombed to ashes (not that I’m complaining but it’s still sad). I wish I could see cities like Warsaw and Berlin the way they looked before WW2. For some reason the USSR also didn’t want to rebuild cities the way they were. But I still like how it looks now, it seems clean, modern and futuristic.❤️

@@PR_nick Racism by definition doesn't depend on the attitude of the person you're being racist to because you can be rude to a rude person without involving their ethnicity. Obviously most people are normal decent people, but denying there is any problem or blaming it on the victim is silly. All you need to do is say "Yes, those bad people exist, they are scum and don't represent me and most Poles." Pozdrawiam

@AlphaCentauri693 жыл бұрын
@@szyszka8303 Learn history. Russia attacked Warsaw many times, in 1920 in the Battle of Warsaw, Poles defeated Bolshevik Russia and recaptured some of the lands from the partitions of Poland that took place in 1772-1795 and in which Russia also participated. Then, in 1939, on September 17, the USSR attacked Poland together with the Germans, and they agreed on the border crossing Warsaw. Then, in 1941, the Germans attacked the USSR and in 1944, when the Germans were losing and an uprising broke out in Warsaw, the USSR specifically stopped the attack so that the Poles and Germans would have even more losses. The USSR then limited itself to bombing and shelling Warsaw with artillery. Then the Germans murdered around 200,000 PEOPLE in Warsaw, most of them Poles. And the USSR looked at it especially without attacking because it would have a diplomatic problem with the West when the Poles were strong and resisted the occupation by the USSR. Then the USSR attacked Warsaw and when it was captured by the USSR, about 70% of residential buildings and about 50% of all city buildings were destroyed in Warsaw. Only 1 building has survived in the Old Town.
