Love the sound of a thunderstorm. So relaxing. Last night and all day today it snowed with strong wind. Just isn't the same. Wind howls sounds creepy like a haunted building. Another two months of snow then finally spring.

I was in Indonesia this year 2022, sept 15 to Oct 10th, near Mount Merapi .I think the rain came earlier this year , I only saw Merapi once ,mostly cloud covered . The sound of the rain is lovely ,but not when it comes down onto corrugated iron roofs!

Yes, you're right. Dry season in this year is very short, not more than three months. Did you visit Yogyakarta, my hometown? I was born and raised at Yogyakarta, but moved to Blitar, East Java since September 2020. By the way, thanks for your support.
