Hi everyone! Welcome to P&Js Homestead Adventure. Join us as we take a quick beautiful walk into Fall on our property in NY State. The leaves on our trees are changing color and they are falling everyday. We are busy harvesting, preserving, and storing food from our garden. A doe and her fawn stopped by a few times this week. Wildlife always surprises us in our yard. Deer season has arrived. Do you deer hunt? Let us know in the comments. We hope you fill your freezer!

Beautiful ❤ I have done strawberry jam and plum butter for the first time. I’m surprised how good the plumb butter is. It would taste delicious on ham or pork. Beautiful nature and deer. I have stray cats and I have no idea where they come from either, however, I heard that the shelters are spay and nurturing them, marking them with either a little cut out of their ear, or a tattoo on their belly. Then they release them into the woods. I have a lot of woods so I wouldn’t doubt it. Very nice harvests
