Villa-Lobos State Park is a public park located in Alto de Pinheiros, on the banks of the Pinheiros River, in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. The main entrance to the park is located on Avenida Professor Fonseca Rodrigues.
Inaugurated at the end of 1994, the park, designed by architect Decio Tozzi, was originally conceived to be a musical oasis - a tribute to composer Heitor Villa-Lobos, but today it is very popular for walking and cycling. As a second-generation park, conceived with the intention of conceptualizing the free leisure time of urban populations as a time of culture and knowledge, Villa-Lobos is proposed as a modern and contemporary musical theme park, containing, in addition, from the green areas, equipment for the sensitive knowledge of music.
It has 741,000 m² of green area, bike path, playground, musical island for shows and concerts and Atlantic Forest forest. The leisure area also includes gym equipment, jogging track, basketball hoops, 3 indoor soccer courts, 7 tennis courts, in addition to multi-sport courts, 4 soccer fields, 2.4 km of hiking trails, 3.5 km of bike path. An open amphitheater measuring 729 m², with 450 seats, adapted toilets for the disabled, a cafeteria and 750 parking spaces.
The park also promotes musical events, especially instrumental, such as orchestras and choro groups; the tennis complex hosts the São Paulo Open international tournament. In December 2010, the Ruth Cardoso Orquidário was inaugurated. It also has an elevated circuit between the crowns of some of the park's trees.
The estimated audience is around 3,000 people a day during the week and approximately 25,000 on weekends.[citation needed]
On weekends and holidays, you can also see exotic kites in the park's skies, including giant kites, octopuses, hang gliders and Parafoils. Guaranteed fun and no "cerol" (cutting), as it is prohibited in the park.
The park's security is assisted by the Military Police, which is based at the site with the 1st CIA of the 23rd BPM/M; an outsourced team complements local security.

Nice site of São Paulo. It is important to make it clear to foreigners and even younger natives that 30 years ago this was a landfill, and it is proof that Brazil takes better care of the environment than many others who think they are more "developed".

Um exemplo no que respeita ao cumprimento das regras sanitárias não só em São Paulo mas em todo o Brasil. . Infelizmente, no país onde estou a morar (Portugal) já não se vê quase ninguém usando máscara ao ar livre mesmo em locais de lazer propícios à aglomeração; isso, quando ainda estamos a atravessar o pico da quinta vaga pandémica.

Этот город находится в Сан-Паулу, где нет моря. Сан-Паулу - крупный приморский мегаполис, находится больше в прибрежных штатах, где есть море. Пример Рио-де-Жанейро, Санта-Катарина и др.
