"Is there a Pokemon that looks like that?" ... Well, I guess there's Stakataka, which, as far as Pokemon Lore goes, is also an eldritch monster from another dimension. It's got four legs and is pretty creepy - each brick in it is alive and has an eye that "peeks" out from time to time.

I get motion sickness too but usually on boats and buses. Fortunately, most FPS games don't affect me as bad as they do on Big Lyds. Maybe try some Ginger Beer? They usually help with the discomfort. Mad props for toughing it out there, Lyds!

Oh gosh, I just got flashbacks to playing chess with a friend in middle-school who clearly had no idea how to play and yet insisted that he did and got livid whenever I told him about a basic mechanic, claiming I was making stuff up and cheating. Basic things like how only knights can 'jump over' other pieces, pawns that reach the other end of the board can turn into any other type of piece, pawns not being able to move backwards and their ability to go two spaces on their first move. I could forgive him not knowing about the move we saw with the King and Rook doing a simultaneous move, but good lord everything else was infuriating.

I feel sorry for people who get motion sickness. I wish I could empathize and say I know how it feels but I just don't get motion sick, even when flailing all over in vr, so the best I can offer is my condolences.

Yeah, I think Lydia also has a pretty bad case of it. I get motion sick only in a handful of games (if you've ever played The Talos Principle, that one was the WORST for me), but not nearly as often as she does. And it sucks, you have to take a break from playing the game sometimes, even after setting the FOV correctly etc. Just nothing helps except not playing/watching.

Oh, poor Lydia, I feel your pain. When you said you were feeling sick, I noticed the hollow feeling in my stomach and head. Bad Tom! No mouse flicks! Also, try changing the refresh rate and screen resolution, although in this case it probably won’t help as it hit be through an iPhone screen. I go lie down now!

car sickness medicine works well for motion sickness. then play lots of first person games to train yourself to not get nauseous with them though if you stop playing for a long time you'll get nauseous again when playing 1st person games

I got motion sickness a lot IRL but not so much in videogame. For videogame it's usually the narrow FOV that triggers it, especially if the camera control is janky (or watching someone else control it). Strangely enough, having a full stomach help a lot and I only get motion sickness real bad if my stomach is empty.
