I loved this neighbourhood Carlos, it has such great potential to be a very lively place with hotels, bars and restaurants. I see the French style architecture which reminds me a little of the French quarter of New Orleans. Such an interesting video my friend! 🙏❤

Mi querido Santiago centro, ya no es lo mismo. Esos eran mis barrios. Me fui hace unos años y cada vez que voy de viaje, me entristece verlo cada vez más botado, sucio y peligroso, sobretodo después del estallido y por la mala administración municipal.

Very low culture of the authors of the ugly graffiti. A total disrespect for the wonderful architecture and all the legacy of our european ancestors who came from 1840 to make this country a better place. In general, all the areas around and downtown had deteriorated rapidly in the last 5 to 10 years specially with the arrival of uncontrolled waves of South American immigration from Banana Republic countries like Peru, Bolivia, Haiti, Dominicana, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador etc. All now is full of tents, street and food sellers, narcotraffic, criminality, disorder, and extreme dirtiness. Unfortunately, the current leftwing Government (Boric if you read this take note) do absolutely nothing to bring law and order in the country. Only hope is that the decent Chileans change this and make Chile great again.
