Santiago also known as Santiago de Chile, is the capital and largest city of Chile as well as one of the largest cities in the Americas. It is the center of Chile's most densely populated region, the Santiago Metropolitan Region, whose total population is 8 million, of which more than 6 million live in the city's continuous urban area. The city is entirely in the country's central valley. Most of the city lies between 500-650 m (1,640-2,133 ft) above mean sea level.
Lastarria is a historical neighborhood in Central Santiago, located North of Avenida Liberador Bernardo O’Higgins (the “Alameda”). It is adjacent to the neighborhood Bellas Artes, Cerro Santa Lucia, and can be easily reached via the Universidad Catolica metro station. If the old buildings and artist hideaways of large European cities charm you, Lastarria, is an excellent place to spend an afternoon or evening. Planning a meal and a meandering walk in Lastarria after a visit to the must-see Cerro Santa Lucia is highly recommended.

Y se seguirá repitiendo hasta el cansancio, la mayoría de bohemios, borrachos, drogadictos y mendigos cesantes viven en Lastarria, normal que la municipalidad no esté interesada en invertir más dinero en reparaciones, no durarían NI UN DÍA, cada ciudadano de cada comuna obtiene lo que quiere si no cuidan su entorno!

Cześć! Thank you for your comment. I don't have any video there yet, but I will consider to make a walk in that area. It's a beautiful building, I lived just in front of that basilic a few years ago. In one of my walks you will see a big statue dedicated to Jan Paweł II here in Santiago. Greetings from Chile!

Nice footage! Your viewer should be able to hit pause to read the signage though. The park to the lower left on your map is actually an extinct volcano if I recall correctly. If you climbed to the top, did it have a view worth filming?
