In Bangkok, in winter, when the temperature drops to 19 degrees Celsius outside of dawn, you can see people wearing Canada Goose on the streets, and emergency measures must be taken to prevent homeless people and street dogs from freezing to death. Moreover, this year's winter is unusually warm.

One of the misunderstandings many people have is to equate ‘death from hypothermia’ with ‘death from freezing.’ Death from hypothermia can occur at any time if the temperature falls below 24 degrees and the person does not maintain adequate warmth and is physically weak. In Southeast Asia, the temperature rarely falls below 24 degrees even in winter, so the probability of an accident is low. In fact, about 10 years ago in Taiwan during the winter, when the temperature was 18 to 23 degrees, many homeless people died from hypothermia. Therefore, in Southeast Asia, it is common for the government to prepare countermeasures if the temperature falls below 25 degrees.

May be the most confusing area for visitors of Bangkok. "Asok" refers to the station of the BTS in that area, while "Asok" on the Saen Saep river boat refers to a pier close to MRT station "Petchaburi" that is one stop north of "Sukhumvit" MRT station tha tis connected to "Asok" BTS. And to add to this confusion ARL station "Makkasan" is actually closest to Saen Saep riverboat "Asok". And SRT "Makkasan" should be called "Asok" Hope all things are clear now, or....? 555555
