Walking “Tenderloin” San Francisco Worst Hood - Dudes On The Corner Get Upset About My Camera

While doing a walk around video tour some dudes on the corner didn’t like the camera!

Did you know that the Tenderloin in SF is the most densely populated neighborhood in America at 128.98k people per square mile beating out Manhattan’s Sutton Place which is at 126.74k people per square mile according to Statistical Atlas U.S. census data. With that much crowdedness you will see a lot very fast.

How bad was it I want to go up its been 17 years a friend brother lived by the blossom valley mall in san Jose's blossom Valley. He was there from 1992 to 2005. He was in a different area of San Jose from 1990 to 1992. There in NY now. A neighbor here went back to San Francisco he was not happy the way it is now and he's in Nashville

In the future, to be safe (if you don't want to be physically harassed) Try to conceal your camera when walking around the Tenderloin. Don't be so noticeable recording them. Most are doing something illegal as you walk through. Oh, And most are carrying Guns or knives.

Me and my 3 year old daughter used to make the same trek you did everyday. You did it in the morning when the crazies weren't out. You stuck to the outskirts, and then you want to be commended on how brave you are. Try doing it on the 1st of the month and doing it on Eddy, Turk or Golden Gate Streets around 10pm. Been there done that, this vid is a virtue signal with no danger whatsoever.

First of all, I dont even leave the hotel till noon. I am never recording “in the morning”. In fact there was another video that was an hour long recorded right before this one it shows us driving to exact spot after rush hour traffic had already subsided.

That was not a walk through the Tenderloin. You stayed on the outskirts. You didn't walk up and down Eddy, Turk or Golden Gate Streets. I lived there, if O'farrell and Ellis streets scared you, then just call the video "A walk through the Tenderloin, without going into the really bad areas". Because where you walked is the safe area.

I lived in the United Hotel on 6th St. Between Mission & Howard before my daughter was born. I lived in the Eddy Hotel on Eddy between Larkin and Polk until my daughter was 3 (We had a bathroom, but an improvised kitchen), and it was more like a studio appt then a hotel room. Sorry I don't have video, left that hell hole 9 years ago so my kid can have a better life. But, my in-laws still live on Geary and Leavenworth, so I still see the TL on a regular basis.
