Walking the Coastal Town of STO DOMINGO Albay Philippines [4K]

There are picturesque places in Sto Domingo Albay Philippines. This was my first time visiting this area, and it was nice to see the Black Sand Beach with amazing views of the Mount Mayon Volcano. The St. Dominic De Guzman Church was built from volcanic rock and stands tall with some interesting history which I will add a link below. Sto. Domingo was formerly called Li’bog, and used to be part of the town of Albay which is now Legazpi City. That's what I love about the Philippines! Everywhere you go, there is always a story! My college classmate introduce me this town way back 2007, where she grew up..we arrived there at midnight at her brother's house.. and the first thing in the morning that I did was to explore the coastal area of Sto. Domingo.. my classmate was very worried where I'd been because I left alone and just explore the area and she was very surprised that I already seen the coastal area when I return back.. so yeah..the place seems pretty the same except those stores along the shoreline and also there are bukal (natural mineral faucet flowing freely) along the shoreline where we get our drinking water before☺☺☺..and that is one of the memorable experience I will treasure from this place.

Wow, that volcano looks pretty close to that village. I miss your Manila walks, especially in crazy Tondo but this is also great. And it feels that you are free from Manila and really exploring life outside the capital. Happy adventures!!! :)

Last Oct. 28 & 29, 2022 dumalo kami sa kasal ng supervisor ng misis ko ginanap sa Sto. Domingo church at ang reception ay sa function room ng Sarung Banggi beach resort. Tuloy parin ang kasal kahit malakas si bagyong Paeng. Sumpaan pag ibig ng bawat isa ay hindi mapigilan ng malakas na hangin at ulan. Hindi nga lamang masilayan mayong bulkan dahil natatakpan ng ulap ng kalangitan. Fond memorable treasures we have here.
