Absolutely phenomenal, Levison Wood I salute you. The series was perfectly filmed and breathtakingly real, a poignant journey, I can't imagine how proud his family must be of him succeeding in this challenge. Not only did he show with respect the beauty of Africa he also showed how to overcome hazards in a war zone and reflect the reality of one man braving all in the face of natural and man-made hazards.

I read somewhere the Amazon holds more water than the Nile, the Yangtze and the Mississippi combined. So, yes, it is technically the biggest river in terms of water volume but the longest river (length from source to the where it ends) is still the Nile.
