This film I hope shows some of the highlights of the Offa's dyke and Pembrokeshire coastline.
with no real plans i turned left out side my house, I headed north with my friends dog (Joy)
I did not know it at the time but it would turn into a 500 mile dog walking adventure.

This is lovely to see, I just happened upon it, here in Vermont, U.S. I walked the lower half of Offa's Dyke Path with 3 friends at the end of April (Chepstow to Knighton), then one of my friends and I detoured to Aberystwyth, where my great great grandparents were from - I walked into the church where they got married in 1851, so cool! What a treat to walk this with Joy, the connection between you two is so sweet.

Very beautifully put. I noticed you were walking the wrong way though at the base of the Black Mountains into Hay. You were heading back towards Hay Bluff. Maybe for effect - it is a visually pleasing part of the range. Well, I won't say to much on account of the poor response to replies. Suffice to say very enjoyable. Mark

Hi Jon, We have been watching several of your videos and enjoyed totally. Loved the moment when you turned Left at Thorverton. I grew up in Devon and went to school in Crediton with several from the village. I am 63 with one friend back then who lives in the village called Andrew Still. He spent many years working on boat electrics. We do go on walks via the Bald Explorer Richard Vobes. Best from David and Lily.

Another fantastic video, Jon. It just shows you that you don't need to travel the world to have an adventure . I've watched all your other videos, and you have been a bit of an inspiration for me to get out and have an adventure, or two, myself. When I started watching your videos, we were in the middle of Covid, so getting on a bit of an adventure was not very likely. In 2020, I did manage to ride my motorbike through France and Spain, from the UK, camping and using AirBNB, and this year, I went back to Europe, again, on my bike to the Alps, Dolomites and around Croatia, mainly camping. Looking forward to se what you do next. I realise that we're not going to get a new video on a weekly/monthly basis, but they're worth the wait.

Hi Brendan Regarding your question about wild camping? I always pick remote out of the way spots and pitch my tent late as possible and break camp at first light that way I have never encountered any problems. Good luck with your hike the offas dyke trail has amazing scenery enjoy! All the best Jon

When I watch any video that I don't want to end, means to me that it is quality viewing time and that's what your videos provide. I have no idea what your motivation for making these videos is/are as you probably don't have the amount of subscribers or views for YT to pay you anything (like myself), but each leg of these journey's warrants a 20-30 minute video in it's own right. I know the area well and it is all too condensed in my humble opinion. I'm just Oliver Twist here asking Mr. Bumble for MORE is all. 😉
