Brings back happy memories when I did the walk in 1971. Will watch PT 2.

Oh, that's great 😇 would you say that the trail has stayed the same over time? 🍃🌿
@marc77103 жыл бұрын
@@hanry7 yes the trail has changed a little, but still retains its character. There was no flagstones on Black Hill. The trail then was a compass and map affair. How things have changed over the years.

Thank you so much for putting this on and letting me see the famous walk everyone else gets to enjoy😁👌😉💛 I now think this looks like the not so good part of the walk. It looks so much better down there than up here. Suppose my chucks are a good sight.😂 I've got 23 chicks hatched out this year.

Hi Ralph, thank you for your comment 😇🍃 we'll see what the northern part will look like in comparison 😀 High Cup Nick, Hadrian's Wall and the Cheviots were very nice places, too, after all 🌞🍃 ohoh, I will have to look through the material but I don't think I got a shot of your chicken 🙈🍃

@@hanry7 I don't think you got any footage from my place at all unless you did before or after the house. Just think I could of been famous if you got me on there😂😁 saying that I think I'm probably quite famous already with my KZbin channel and videos.💛 can't remember if you have seen my videos and left a comment or not.

Awesome! Is it a very busy trail? I do see some bits have a lot of other hikers or are that 'daywalkers' ?
@hanry74 жыл бұрын
Thank you :-D No, for most of the time it is not busy at all. The first two days were Saturday and Sunday, so there were a lot of day walkers around Kinder Scout and Wessenden Reservoir. The stage to Tan Hill up Great Shunner Fell was on a Sunday, too. And Malham Cove generally has a lot of visitors I guess. On day 2 the same four thru-hikers can be seen from time to time. We walked and camped together for a bit but there were not many more than us. I met about 5 thru-hikers on average each day, or rather less :-)
