Without sounding morbid, but when you shove of you mortal coil (hopefully, many years from now), you should use your sign off on your memorial. "John Rogers will see you on the next walk, wherever that may be". Great videos as always.

I love your videos. I live in California but I've always wanted to go to England and never been able to. I especially love seeing the parts of London that my genealogy research shows where my ancestors lived married and died. I would have loved walking the London Loop, but that's not going to happen now that I am 81. Your videos are a way of being there anyway. Thanks!

I agree William. John comes across as a friend who would be fun to go get a pint or two with and have a chat. I found his videos during a tough time in either late 2020 or early 2021 and have watched nearly everything he’s produced. He had a role in getting me up and back out and walking to explore my community again. Even my last trip to London in November of ‘21, I actually used John’s videos to come up with a walk of my own through the city. I can’t wait to get back to England and do more - maybe even part of the loop.

Thanks for the pleasant memories and the added information. From Wednesday to Saturday last week I finally closed the LOOP on my sponsored walk, from Harold Wood to Upminster Bridge and from Petts Wood to Coulsdon South. My personal favourite is section 5, through Happy Valley. I personally hate walking over golf courses! Even going in the 'correct' direction I frequently got lost, as my real-time videos on KZbin confirm!

Hi John! I absolutely love this section of the LL. This is one of the most rural sections. When I was younger, I used to cycle the seven miles from Upper Norwood to Keston. Absolutely adore this place and vicinity. On the top lake of Keston Ponds, there is the source of the Ravensbourne River, which then makes it’s confluence with the River Thames at Deptford. Recently, done the Beverley Brook walk from Putney to New Malden, which is worth checking out.

Hi, a bit of paranormal content present, my analysis concludes there's EVP spirit audio at 0.25x video speed here: 3:26 'Der er Völven, shaman' ('There's The Völve, shaman'), 3:37 'Nymåne' ('New moon'), 3:38 'Odin', 3:48 possibly 'Freja' ('Freya'), Asatru Goddess of Love. 3:56 'Mange flere Guder' ('Many more Gods'). Now a voice more distant: 3:57 'Mange keltiske Guder' ('Many Celtic Gods'). Children can often be media for spirit, they're so open and spirit lets them unconsciously enter a slight trance-like state, not harmful and just temporary. Thank you, respect from The Völve

Hi John, really enjoying watching your films. Only been watching them recently but just caught a Q & A you did in lockdown, and thought of a couple of questions that you have possibly answered before but hopefully don't mind me asking...First one, when doing lost river walks is there any merit using a water deviner or taking a specialist with you?...I do love the mystery of those walks but still might be an interesting experiment...the other one is, have you heard of the Madness album The Liberty of Norton Folgate? Such a good album and concept...and love to see a walk that covers that area...once again thanks for the films...absolutely love them.
