Walking The Unseen Streets of Sampaloc, Manila Philippines.

Ang Sampaloc, Manila ang nagisnan ko ay di ganito. I was born in V. Mapa Sta Mesa, Manila. Corner of Ramon Magsaysay Blvd and turn right onto V. Mapa. Jeepneys are coming from San Juan/Sta Mesa/Quiapo and return. Ngayon, ay madumi, makalat, magulo, ang daming mga tricycles everywhere which makes the streets more crowded. So many street vendors, cart’s vendors and stores with no proper places to stay. They parked anywhere. The houses are so high which can be dangerous during Fire and Typhoons season. These homes built very weak and no foundation to protect their properties. Spaghetti wirings are not safe. Too low and no protection for everyone’s safety. The houses are so closed to each other. Hygiene is so important to all of us. Cleanliness. They are all living expensive because of electric fans and AirCon. Electricity bills must be too high everyone. The alleys are so narrow and very dirty. November 26, 2023, Sunday evening from California, USA 🇺🇸 Hindi po ako naglilit, I was just comparing Sampaloc then to now? What happened? No disciplines sa ating kababayan? Bakit nauso ang tricycles?

Thank you for showing Sampaloc, Manila. Matagal ko na di nakikita itong lugar na ito. When I used to live in Sta Mesa before coming to the States, I would see this everyday going to Quiapo and on Fridays to Quiapo Church. Salamat po, my friend 💜💜💜. Pumangit. Very disorganized, dirty and more poverty lives everywhere. 🇺🇸🇵🇭
