Walking The Walsall Canal (Part 2)

The second part of Walking the length of The Walsall Canal. Starting at Walsall Junction where part one finished. This time we pass near Walsall Manor Hospital, the Sister Dora Cemetery Memorial Gardens, through Pleck, under the M6 Motorway and over The James Bridge Aqueduct. This part of the walk finishes at Forsters Bridge near to the remains of an old canal junction with the now disused Ansons Branch Canal. At the end of the video we take a walk along the overgrown towpath of the now disused canal to Bentley Mill Way, passing an old aqueduct along the way. I have often wondered where that goes from the Walsall basin. Now I have seen it I will go down there in the summer. I used to work in Reservoir Place, Pleck and knew there was a canal the bottom of the road. I'll have to pop into the office as I pass. I retired 2 year ago and have lots of time to go cycling.
