It was a great show. I took my kid Friday he did very well scouring the value boxes for his part of our eBay store. We also found a lot of dealers were willing to negotiate more so then in the past which was nice to get some deals on hard to find cards

Glad you and your son had a great time. I did find dealers more willing to come down. I think with the boom of the lockdown for a while there they wouldn't budge. Thanks again for watching and have a great night.

He's been at it for many years, he's also pretty good with real estate. 😉

I'd recommend filming more of the stuff in cases rather than just up and down the aisles of the people, we're here to see the merchandise after all aren't we?

Hello, thanks for the feedback. I try to get some of the bigger stuff, some dealers don't appreciate it so I try to get a balance. I'll try to put more in, I try to show the flow of the show, what dealers, companies are there. But I'll try to do my best. I thank you for the feedback and hope you did enjoy the video. Thanks again and I hope you and your family have a great holiday. Thank you.

Any Bedard FWA there? In particular the inscribed? Love to know what they’re asking.
@winstonw202019 күн бұрын
I didn't look that close for any bedard so stuff. There was a ton. The ask and what you could negotiate is another thing as well. Dealers were open to negotiating. And I noticed a lot of people selling. So trade night must be good.

No worries at all. Seen you zip by my friends hockey booth at Total sports cards / GP sports cards. I’ve never been to an expo so it was very kool to see how big it is and the variety. Thank you for sharing & I just noticed that particular item and did not understand. Keep up the awesome content

There was some. I'd say the least of the 4 sports. Are you planning to attend ?

the show sure has changed....not in a good way .Where the hell do so many young kids get the money to buy $200 new issue cards ...the whole thing will implode on itself because the stock carried by the dealers from only the last 4 years is hugeeeee. twenty cents on the dollar for anything 2 years and older or even worse no one wants the stock at all.

Hello Richard. I hear what you are saying. I'm conflicted and I want to do a video soon on whether I consider sports cards as an investment. I see a lot of kids with a lot more cash now, they flip more than collect. With fanatics being in there they have to make the hobby a quasi investment business to recoup their investment. There's also two trains of thought.. I remember 84 star Jordans being 7k in the 90s, but I also remember 89 hoops David Robinson rcs being 60 as well. Let's hope the hobby keeps it's core audience and purpose. But I agree, crashes are part of the cycle. Thanks for watching. And have a great Sunday.

I don’t know about most kids but mine has learned from me how to find deals in value boxes. He spent 40$ and so far has profited 145 with probably another 100$ to go if he gets close to comps on his remaining finds.

@nickgalotta8734 That's awesome. I did learn about value growing up as a kid through cards and comics. I eventually worked in finance and those principles helped in the industry. Wish you and your family all the best Nick. Glad your son is getting a valuable experience from it.

@@nickgalotta8734 i get your point but what you are saying is that dealers are selling you stuff for 40 dollars and you have made or expect to make 145 plus another 100 from different table dealers buying that stuff you bought for 40 ...hard to believe really
