Not in Vegas, at night there are literally thousands of Bars, lounges, shows, clubs, gambling and a few other thousands of things to do l, so you enjoy the pools in the day. Anywhere else in the world then you are correct pools at night are great!

Great hotel. The staff and security are extremely accommodating and patient. I can testify that from personal experience 😂 I’d recommend staying here if you haven’t been.

I've stayed at the Luxor a couple of times. The first time they had a barge ride. The latest time was 3 yrs ago. Can't wait for the next time.

Always good to see this hotel still thriving. It really is a city landmark at this point, much like Caesars and a few others. It's also one of the first hotels besides Mirage that defined the Vegas boom of the 90's.

I like the Luxor! Though I haven't stayed there since 2007, I always make it a point to walk through it when I stay at Mandalay Bay. The atrium is spectacular, there's much to like, and although it comes up short in fine dining, the great restaurants of Mandalay Bay are right next door.

I used to live going to luxor as a kid but now its just more focused towards adults. It used to have a 2 story arcade on the top level with the virtua racing arcade simulators.

Luxor is one my favorite hotels in Vegas. I have never stayed there but I did stay next door at Mandalay Bay that is also a really nice hotel.

i went there the first year it opened. not much has changes in the almost 25 years . last time i stayed there was a couple of years ago. its a good value for the money, the buffet was one of the worst LV ones i have been to though .

That little enclosed bridge over the pool is where I smoked my first cigarette 20 years ago (I was 15). Not my best decision, but thanks for the memories! Fun times. 😊

Fun times, I remember smoking my first cigarette too. Tasted so gross...but I kept at it....same as coffee; soon after I was hooked. Loved smoking, did it for 15 years almost. I eventually quit with the Anne Pennman laser therapy. It worked for me, almost 3 years now. Sounds Looney I know....laser therapy, blocking your nicotine receptors LOL

The group of slot machines you were questioning are used for slot tourneyments. People are invited to participate, usually frequent players, and are offered a cash prize for accumulating the most points on a machine.

Thanks for another great video guys! Really enjoyed reminiscing about our stay there last year. Having visited Luxor in Egypt we were able to easily pick out similarities in the details and decor as we passed through the hotel. Although we had a pleasant stay we're going to pick a hotel nearer the centre of the strip next time. Do you know what the construction project opposite is? Also, is the construction of Resorts World progressed at all?

Those slots you saw at the Luxor sportsbook area are TOURNAMENT SLOT machines. People hit the button over and over to see who racks up the highest points and then they win the slots tournament.
