Walking to Planos Beach from the Aqua Bay Hotel | Planet Bar drinks | Late lunch at The Brothers

Welcome to our family vaction vlog where we share our travel adventures to Tsilivi in Zante, Greece.
Today was a beach day and we give walking from our base at the Aqua Bay Hotel, in Tsilivi, Zante to give the main Tsilivi aka Planos Beach a try.
Not for the faint hearted in the heat, its about a 20 - 30 minute non-stop walk. You simply follow the one road in and out of downtown from the hotel, and then branch off to the left towards the sea front.
We pass by numerous restaurant's, bars, on the way, highlighting a couple we had seen positive reviews about on the We Love Tsilivi Facebook Group, namely the Two Brothers Cocktail Bar, Breeze Bar which is adjacent to the Lazaros Hotel Resort, and Popeye's.

We also stop in a few shops and supermarkets to browse and resolve the kid sandal issue. Yep, if you have youngsters you will completely understand how events unfolded.
We stop on the way for a quick drink at the Planet Bar, the boys supping on a beer while everyone else (apart from Jacob who has water) enjoy one of the many milkshakes on offer.
Rehydrated, we eventually making it to Tsilivi, or Planos beach. With newly bought buckets and spades we grab a couple of chairs and a table at the Seacret Beach Bar, which cost us €15. And as this is a sandy beach the kids enjoy building sandcastles and we all love swiming in the glorious turqouise waters of the Ionion Sea.
Having enjoyed beach life to its fullest we begin the walk back to the Aqua Bay Hotel, but not before stopping off at The Brothers, a restaurant serving top notch gyros. The food was delicios and the service the best we had all holiday, we were made to feel a part of the family.
