Walking to Rome on the Via Francigena 04: Racing Through Timeless Italian Villages

Via Francigena: Pontremoli to Aulla (1 day, 34.3km)
A 30+ kilometre trek is no time to be racing to catch a train. But that is us today, with a schedule to keep. The rugged landscape slows us down and a series of medieval towns enchants us. Will we make that train to Firenze (Florence)?
