The glass cloche in the beginning of the vlog is a French butter keeper. They can be $$$$$. You put the butter in the cup part, and the lid keeps the moisture in. Much love.

I grew up with those dishes. My Grand Mother had that pattern. So many great patterns to choose from. I do love the country french farmhouse decor. I like mixing together styles that I find visually pleasing. 🐦 🏡 🌷

Hi Sarah. I loved the thrift store, and what a beautiful collection of items. Our charity shops in the area of the UK where I live are tiny in comparison, but I have found a few gems over the years. The soldiers that you likened to the nutcracker wear bearskin hats and form the royal footguards; they protect the monarch at the various castles and palaces. They are made up of several regiments: Grenadier Guards, Coldstream Guards, Scots Guards, Irish Guards, Welsh Guards, Royal Scots Dragoon Guards, and the Honourable Artillery Company.

Wow! Some great finds! Your first nutcracker originally had a fishing pole in the other hand. My dad had one like it. My brother has it now since mom passed in April. Great deal on the PJs. Mom also has a huge set of the Currier and Ives dishes with several serving pcs. We're going to sell those I guess. I love them but none of us have room for them. Plus, I have had so much blue in my house that I'm getting rid of all the blue now! Your girls are adorable. Smokey is having what I call the "cat tears!" I inherited my mom's elderly cat and she sleeps most of the time but every now and then she goes wild like that. Tearing thru the house like crazy. But I love her. TFS your shopping trip and haul. Your voice and laid back ways calm me.

I have two crazy cats that as soon as I get to bed that’s when they go nuts and chase each other around the house and knock stuff over 🫣. It sounds like someone is breaking into the house. If it wasn’t so cold outside I would boot them out the door. After I get mad at them a few times they finally calm down. Can you give cats melatonin lol.

You need to play with your cats before bed so that they will be tired like you are when it’s time to go to sleep. Jackson Galaxy has many videos about how to get your cat to go to bed at the same time as you. He has videos on KZbin. ❤🐈🐈‍⬛❤
