Situ Patenggang is a lake located in Rancabali, Ciwidey, Bandung Regency, West Java. The name Situ Patenggang is taken from the Sundanese language which means "looking for a lake".
The origin of Situ Patenggang is related to a love story during the Siliwangi Kingdom, about Prabu Kian Santang and Dewi Rengganis. Prabu Kian Santang was the son of Prabu Siliwangi On the other hand, Dewi Rengganis came from the common people, but was thought to be a beautiful figure.
