Walking Tour: Maksimir District (Pt. 1) - Zagreb, Croatia - 4K UHD Virtual Travel

Maksimir district is an older district of Zagreb, Croatia (built in the first half of the 20th century) and it is situated east of the city center. It includes the beautiful Maksimir Park which shares its name with this part of town.
The first part of the Maksimir video series shows a lower portion of the district. It's a nice family neighborhood characterized by family houses with front gardens, smaller residential buildings, parks, playgrounds and quiet streets - all surrounded by busier transit streets which offer public transportation and lots of shops and cafés: Kvaternikov trg (Kvaternik Square) and Heinzelova ulica (Heinzel Street) in the west, Maksimir Park and Svetice ulica (Svetice Street) in the east, Maksimirska cesta (Maksimir Street) in the north and Zvonimirova ulica (Zvonimir Street) in the south.
