It is a very peaceful place. The houses there are beautiful, it's quiet, clean, a great place for retiring, for sure. And the beach is not crowded at all (at least when I was there).

Spent many a time in the ferrereria, and many a drunken night in the Trafalger bar.....sadly now closed. Do miss our house in Los Jarales.

Can't tell you as I've never been to Calahonda in Summertime. But all Costa del Sol gets packed during summer.

Yes it does get packed, but if you go early in the morning it’s a beautiful walk.

There are buses that run in between these places (fuangirola, marbella, calahonda). But not sure how often they run. Maybe every 20 minutes or so.
