What an awesome experience. I've been to El Calafate to play around on the Perito Moreno glacier. I plan to explore in Antarctica in which the tour company departs out of Ushuaia. This looks like a very cool experience to add to the adventure. Thanks for sharing.

Fantastic! Unfortunately when I visited I was lied to. The tour company said when I booked we will walk with Penguins. however on the day of he said the waters are too chopping and we won’t be able to get off the boat. 50 passengers we very upset and demanded a refund. We only received a portion of our money back because we all got the cops involved. I am so happy you had a better experience. I didn’t know that only Pira tours could go to the island. I really enjoyed this video. One day I will go back and enjoy the walk with the Penguins 🐧 Gladys and Kenny love your genuineness. I truly felt as if I were there with you guys. Thank you so much for sharing this spectacular experience 🥰

So sorry to hear. I had a tour company tell us that no one could get on the island and gave me a free coupon for a hot cup of chocolate so I can book with her lol. I hope you go back. Make sure you book with Pira Tours. I promise you won't regret it. I am happy I can share this experience with you ❤️

what is the difference in price getting off the boat vs being stuck on the boat? Also, might be a dumb question, but are they there year round, or do they migrate there a certain time of year?

Hi Tony and Sara, It’s about half the price. But who wants to see the Penguins from the boat 😔 If you plan ongoing it's best to walk with them. If you exchange money for the blue rate, you will get it half off anyway😁. They are only there from October to March. 😍😍

I've been following your trip across Argentina. Great videos! New sub here. Can't wait to watch your other videos too. Ushuaia is known for the changing weather. It's said you can have all four seasons in one day. Did you notice the crooked bushes and trees? Its because of the wind. The trees are known as flag trees because they are bent. You can go to Antarctica from Ushuaia, but I guess it's a bit pricey. I hope you can also visit Calafate and Bariloche. If you visit Calafate and El Chalten, you can see, touch and walk around tree fossils between those two towns. We did it we an agency that took us from C to EC. Touching the fossils blew my mind. Enjoy the trip! I'm looking forward to your next adventure!

I am so glad that the other tour companies are not allowing the visitors to get on the island and walk with the penguins. Imagine that many people allowed to be on the island, will surely create negative impact on the penguin's natural habitat, maybe even causing destruction.
