Consider "S+U Warschauer Straße" -> "East Side Gallery" -> "Oberbaumbrücke" -> "Spreeufer" -> "Elsenbrücke" -> "Treptower Park" -> "Plänterwald" "Hackescher Markt" -> "Monbijoupark" -> "Monbijoubrücke" -> "Am Kupfergraben" -> "S+U Friedrichsstraße" is also nice. Pick a Saturday or Sunday, so you can film the flea market at the Bode Museum.

Sterile architecture, people who are in a hurry to get somewhere, average cleanliness, I saw absolutely nothing that would motivate me to visit Berlin. It looks like a former communist city from Eastern Europe.

I think you've made some good points that, in these PC times, many people are reluctant to make. Yet I think the city comes alive if you like the feel of the city, though they could do with improving their creativity in order to justify the tag of 'Europe's coolest city'.
