I still prefer this older hotel than the modern one in Cayo Santa Maria although I like staying out there because I like the vast area and the feeling that I am in Cuba. I like the old school ambience at this resort. Re the food, as someone mentioned, that is a problem in Cuba right now, but if you are expecting North American food, etc., you are not going to get that. I will wait to see what the reviews are like during winter. I will really be going for the beach and sea and a bit of sightseeing. I usually find enough to eat although the food is different. Thanks for the video. Very good job.

Why a lot of people are going to Cuba and expecting "North American Food"? That is Cuba. A different country and with different food. I'm not traveling to Italy and expecting Poutine.

I am here right now and not impressed with the service received in the royal side. Rooms are great maids also but when you go to the beach the wait staff are too busy chatting with the girls to bring you drinks. Good leaves alot to be desired. Not a place I will be recommending
