This is by far the best walk around video of all time. You explained everything about your rig and why. Everything is purpose built and done right. You didn't get tangled in technical jargon, you didn't dumb it down. You just spoke about it honestly and straight forward. What a fantastic machine. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Thank you for seeing the beauty of it! I’d love more power and having an LS would open up a whole new world of possibilities pushing the limits of my driving. But... I kept it stock for the simple reason of CA smog/registration. I drive it on the street all the time and I didn’t want to worry about how the register it every other year. As it sites right now, it can pass smog anywhere I take it! It’s actually funny to see the faces at the smog shop when I pull up. 😂

@@thetrailreaper6317 Funny, I chose a 4.7 Stroker crate motor for the same exact reasons. Moved out of California since the install but I don't have to worry about any emissions issues either. No CEL's and she runs like a top. All the torque! Golen Stroker FTW

It really was a team effort. I started building the axles in my garage and collecting parts for years but when it finally came down to actually doing it, I was going to need more help and space. The guys at Camp Rock Fabrication really helped me pull this whole thing together! Clint is an amazing fabricator. He lead the charge on that side of the build and Marc was instrumental in sourcing parts and company connections. 🤙😁

@@thetrailreaper6317 I did most of the heavy fabrication on mine when I had a tiny 16x20 garage. Since then I have upgraded to a 40x80 so space is less of a concern now. Full hydrolic steering on the street? I'm thinking of doing this and want to know what orbital valve your running etc... "Some people" claim full hydro is terrible for the road.
@thetrailreaper63173 жыл бұрын
Full hydro it’s ideal on the street but it’s totally manageable. I wouldn’t want to do long road trips with it but in my opinion it’s fine for crewing around town and a quick blast down the highway. That being said, what you give up on the street you gain off-road! I love full hydro in the rocks!!! If I remember right... I changed to a PSC 180 2.5 turn. (Not positive on the 180 number.) lt’s either what I had or what I switched to.🤦♂️
