This is absolutely my favourite tarot deck, I love the artwork and the guidebook is really good. For me, I am a more gentle soul (something I have discovered about myself along the way), I also deal with anxiety and depression so darker decks for me are triggers, artwork that is too shadowy, dark, graphic and scary (like horror film scary) I know are not for me, for example the deviant moon, while I appreciate the deck for what it is and the artwork is cool, it's just not a deck for me, it's too confronting and dark for me. So I appreciate that this deck is much more gentle. I love that the guidebook is written like a story and I love the little poems, and I appreciate the empowering stance of the deck as well. The storybook feel of the artwork is stunning, and it's so refreshing to see a deck that doesn't have any images that are confronting or triggering, yet still convey the emotion of the card. When I'm deciding weather a deck is for me or not, I often look to the harder cards in the tarot for me which are Death, 3 of swords, the devil, the tower and the 10 of swords, if those cards are too shadowy, confronting or triggering, I know that the deck is not for me. What surprised me about this deck is, (while they are still difficult cards) I learned to see them in a different light with this deck, because of the more gentle artwork. I have never said this about a death card, but I actually like the death card in this deck, I was able to appreciate both the light and shadow of the card, yes death signals an ending, and that can be difficult but the lighter side of the card is that when one door closes another one opens. I also agree with you Kelly, I love that I have a first edition of this deck, with its little imperfection, it makes it that much more special

I actually experienced this walkthrough exactly how you said, some are like "YES" and then others miss that something extra.... art wise its beautiful, but it would not be a deck I would pick... thanxxx for a beautiful walkthrough yet again miss Kelly!🙏🏾🤎

Kelly, is it called the Witch's Garden because it all takes place in her garden just outside her HOUSE? Also, did you notice all the beautiful aces - the hands all have red nail polish on pointed finger nails? I love Sasha's writing and ADORE the artwork. Have you seen or read Sasha's book "The Magic of Tarot"? It is excellent! I like your observation about the lack of "bad stuff". Thank you for all your hard work I look forward to your videos.

@@TheTruthinStory interesting thought. But a house lllewellen (spelling)should be able to check and cross check. It’s still a beautiful deck. A big house like that should be able to catch that error.

There are not many, if at all, any Sun cards that I like... I'm wondering why there are not much imaginations in creating a Sun card without a face, a child or a horse and now we have it in double 😊Thank you for the walkthrough 🙏 You cracked me up with your " butt kicking" story 😅

I agree on Sun cards… sometimes even Wheel and Chariot cards often just turn up “meh” in otherwise gorgeous decks!

Thank you for review - I’m waiting for my delivery of the Witch’s Garden. Initially I was going to wait for the second print to avoid the Justice-Wheel numbering change, but decided it was part of the ‘charm’! It definitely does seem to be quite soft, but I do have a very specific use/practice in mind for mine so that isn’t an issue. I was either going to go with this deck or the Green Witch - I think I prefer the book for this one.

I am 100% with you on the charm of misprints!! I try to get them if they happen! I also agree that sometimes you are looking for a softer touch and this would be perfect. I think k it was maybe my expectations because of my experience with the ladies of the oracle that made it not quite what I expected in terms of umph!

@@TheTruthinStoryTotally agree - they do have very different energies. I did cheat before I ordered mine, though, and watched a few walkthroughs! 😅 I was one of those kids who always hunted out my presents before Christmas/birthdays 😂

This isn’t the correct spot for this comment, but do you think you would do an analysis of “The Beloved Dead” Oracle for ancestor work? You’re so into that, I’d be interested in your opinion of the deck.

I edged my copy in the Tombow 026 as soon as it arrived when it released and then put it away. Didn't notice the misprint until a couple of weeks ago when I started working with it. I do want a new copy whenever it's corrected, to have a backup. I think I will edge that new one in dark green. I also enjoy Compendium of Witches, and much prefer this tarot deck over the Green Witch Tarot 💚

Yes, Green Witch is the one that I was thinking of that seems like the world is overly smiley, if that makes sense. This definitely has a bit more umph to it but it didn't quite hit the Compendium of Witches expectation, I am still eager to give it a fair shake though!

@TheTruthinStory I agree, it's definitely more "witch life" and Compendium is more like "I am the primordial essence of female badassery" 😄 I wonder if that is because Sasha already has the Dark Wood Tarot so she couldn't do two butt-kicking decks in a row, she had to sneak the butt-kicking in through the guidebook lol. I believe this is the only deck she has done that isn't Halloween themed or adjacent. She also did the Tarot of Haunted House.

The switch in numbers for the Justice and the Wheel of Fortune cards is a big NO NO for me ! I believe this error will be corrected in the second edition of this deck!

It appears that that is simply an error and I am sure it will be corrected :) I love having decks with these types of errors so I will definitely hold onto this one but completely understand waiting for the fix!

I was like what a gorgeous deck until I saw the courts😂 The court cards are something of not my liking…So having 2nd thoughts on purchasing this…but this deck honestly has a very positive energy.
