One of my favorite stays ever! I just left the hotel. June, extremely hot weather = extremely low prices. I paid USD520 the night for a balcony king-size club level room. Incredible experience!

I’ve been recovering from surgery this last week and I must’ve watched at least 4 videos a night until I’ve drifted off to sleep. Your videos are such a comfort! The editing is great and isn’t done in a way that’s over the top and you don’t waffle on 😂 I love the ‘how many people can we fit in the shower’. Still not “luxury” in the way they could make a telephone. Its black plastic office equipment. a sleek aluminum enclosure (apple-like), a high quality micro-LED display is lacking from the high-end market it seems.

Tim, my wife and I have followed your channel for about a year now, and we love your content. I love how steady your camera work is, the audio quality is superb, and how you show us as much of the hotel as you can, even the bad stuff, like bed bugs. The fact that you show us the rooms in the same order everytime is so soothing (front of the hotel, lobby, elevator, living room, bathroom, balcony, and the rest of the interior of the hotel.) I feel bad for you that the tv's dont work most of the time. We wish you would give more air time to the food, we so enjoy watching you eat! Cheers from the states!

Love the champagne gold decor, the suite is gorgeous. My favorite part of the hotel is that they took your request for mattress en🎉casement seriously, and everything is so clean. I hope you got to keep the Mandarin Oriental gold coin room key.

I agree with Chris, people shouldn't complain about how you present your tours. They should be grateful that you can show us all the fantastic places you go, as the fact that's you show so much detail is inspiring. A little correction: it is not 50% full because kids are in school, the big reason is because peak season in Abu Dhabi is December-March. People thst live in Dubai, which is close, use to escape in summer months. Thanks for the great program!

I wouldn't say the toilets are dated, just a classic style and not modern to suit the more traditional/palatial style of the hotel. You can buy classic style toilets and fixtures form Healey and Lord in the Uk for example. Everything about that room was perfect!

It looks just my cup of tea. Given the distance inside the hotel it would be interesting to know if there are any amenities to improve access to those with reduced mobility . Not everyone can walk that far but they still want to enjoy the hotel.

The best hotel so far I think. I loved the windows/doors to the balcony, and the beautiful brass wall behind the bed. As you said, the toilet and bidet looked out of place somehow. The hotel is too big though. Many people would find it difficult to walk those distances to and from their rooms. I think the signage in the corridors needs to be clearer. The pools looked lovely. You hardly mentioned any downside at all, no little frayed markings or scuffs anywhere, which is very rare from what I have seen. The balcony was beautiful too. 👍. Very nice indeed.

I've walked around the place, I'd say it a tourist attraction, public building. It's secondary purpose is a hotel. Otherwise it would have been more logically laid out as a hotel

I have stayed there a couple times. Certainly worth the money. The construction cost was over $3 billion, and less than 400 rooms, i.e. $8 millions per room. Considering that the room rates are surprisingly affordable.

Thr ruler has his own 25,000 sqf apartment at the top floor. So, it is fit for royalty, literally. (Tim missed those chocolate cakes that are covered with 24 carat gold.)

Toured this hotel back in late 2015 and have some of it up on my channel even though I'm not a travel-focused KZbinr like yourself. Emirates Palace truly is special though in terms of what's on a property. Glad you got to experience it!

Great video , I am an Abu Dhabi local and loved the video soo much , regarding you question about that weird building well its Fairmont hotel and infront of it there is the Marina Mall where you can access that round tower , in the tower you will find at the top there will be a Cafe and above it with a stunning 360 view is a Restaurant that actually the floor will move while you dine , it might take a round 40 min for a full 360 turn 😊 hope thats clear enough

Great video as usual Tim 👍 My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon in 2015. We spent three nights in Emirates Palace in the Diamond Room. Seven nights in the The Residence Maldives - 5 nights in a beach front villa with a private pool, and then two nights in an over water villa with pool over the ocean. And then we spent the last 4 nights in The Burj Al Arab in The Panaramic Suite - what a way to end a honeymoon. It was money well spent; we bought some wonderful memories 😊

I’ve been to this hotel, but never stayed for a night. I think it’s actually elegantly made. The interiors of your room is fantastic. It is miles and miles better than the ostentatious decor of the more famous Burj Al Arab.

I have to say, this is the luxury hotel I find to the most worth the price. Not that I can afford 1500 quid a night but I see why it this that price. You can see attention to detail is there, views were amazing, room was beautiful, very grand without being tacky. Also, the fact that they not only accommodated your request for a mattress encasement but had a member of staff actually try to reassure you in person as well was amazing to see. Overall, really like this place and if i had the money (maybe one day) I would definitely stay here. Amazing video as always Tim ❤ 😊

I use to do housekeeping years ago in a 5 star hotel and housekeepers have time limits but stuff cleaning those rooms......immaculate... they work so hard and are underpaid, everyone should always leave tips for the cleaners in countries where appropriate instead of tipping other hotel staff that don't work as physically hard

We always leave a tip in the room when we leave. Yes, they are the hardest workers and always the friendliest.

Omg that's the Emirates palace! I've always dreamed of staying there, my family would go there just to take a stroll when I was a kid because the architecture is so nice and we would talk about how all world leaders coming to meet the UAE president would stay there , so I'm glad you're staying there :D Hopefully it meets expectations because sometimes these types of hotels unexpectedly disappoint
