The plaintiff claims his father, the defendant, has physically abused him for years. The plaintiff says his father stole from him, so he’s suing. The defendant argues the plaintiff said he would retrieve the things but never came back. The defendant is countersuing for car damages and emotional distress.

You gotta be pretty pathetic to sue your own child from a situation that happened when he was 16 who was troubled /depressed, & then say on national tv you don’t want nothing to do with him & you see him only as a thief/liar. Never heard him say once that he loved him. I believe the emotional abuse allegation for sure.

Child abuse accusations shouldn’t be made lightly, but hearing the background story, it’s possible that the defendant obtaining custody of his son when he was 8 caused some disruption and basically made the boy unwanted and therefore an easy target. I think both the plaintiff and defendant were telling the truth about each other. Dad abused son, and son is heading down a destructive path (possibly as a result of the abuse).

How dare the defendant say false statements calling his own son a liar & a thief when he is not, saying he stole from him when he never did, I'm thinking that the plaintiff should get a protective order against his own father to teach him a lesson, the defendant is not allowed to file false charges for robbery/thief that's against the law because if you do & he does get arrested, you will be arrested for filing a false police report & lying to the police (By the way, the counterclaim was never heard, it was dismissed without showing evidence again, but it had nothing to do with stolen property).

So u didn’t hear her say she was holding him so he wouldn’t leave, he came in stern knowing his son was depressed even when she was saying the story the father was saying no and the sister n the son said it happened

She even said she wasn’t there so she can’t say that’s why she can’t say he was abused if u didn’t see it only can speculate so yea
