"Options, Options" is the fifth episode of Season 3 (the lost season!) of Wall Street Warriors - a 10-part Docu-Reality Series that was shot on Wall Street during the meltdown that lead to The Great Recession. Episode 5:
The stock brokers, Phil and Ken, are still in Miami trying to salvage their trip by pitching to two wealthy Florida lawyers. They aren't an easy sell and Phil has to turn on the charm to win them over.
In New York, we meet a new start up hedge fund manager, Ron, who is anxiously pitching Rich his fund. Rich isn't impressed by Ron's flat numbers but will give him money if the numbers improve.
On the Chicago trading floors, Doug discusses how, as the son of steel workers, he ended up in the financial markets.
Picking up from the competition in Episode 4, Tony and his team now trade real money and hope to beat his rival "Q" as the highest earners of the day. Stress peaks as the market closes and all await the final numbers. Tony is overjoyed to find Q turns out to be dead last.
Later, Ken's wife flies to Miami to see the house her husband bought her. She's not exactly happy that he made such a big decision without asking her. Ken nervously shows her the new house. She loves it but starts arguing about how difficult moving her whole life down to Miami is going to be.

The show captures the visceral thrill of trading hand-to-hand in the open outcry pits in Chicago. We profile how these two working-class guys became the business world’s least-likely tycoons. We follow them as they trade the ups-and-downs of the market with their own money. Colorful characters abound on all sides of these tight-knit but cut-throat environments. However, these masters of the free market may prove vulnerable as computers begin making the open-outcry obsolete.

This pioneering and edgy firm is the future of Wall Street. Cutting out the middle man and going right to a growing class of new private traders, Thinkorswim’s CFO, Kristi Ross, fights to keep the start-up growing and running smoothly while nearby Tony Battista trades his own money and shows people how they, too, can make it in the markets. However, when the credit crisis hit all the rules of the game change on them.

The man with the money, Rich Taglianetti is a jet-setter who puts together some
of the wealthiest clients on the planet with some of the best undiscovered
hedge fund managers. With a knack for finding great Wall Street talent, he's the
guy who makes the rich richer.

PHILIP & KEN
Philip and his brother, Ken, run their own brokerage firm located right on Wall
Street. With great style and attitude, they try to capture high profile
celebrity clients and keep them happy by growing their money in these
turbulent times. When the markets begin to crash, things don’t go quite as
planned.

It's funny how even tho i like this series alot as a stock trader. I noticed there are always *a couple scams in Wallstreet Warriors walking arround* that are not whom they say they are. In Season 1 that was scam Guy De Chima (de portfolio manager) whom was envolved in a ponzi scheme and in this season 3 it is Philip & Ken (brokers) from the Brisard & Brisard company that act as if they are brokers but are not even licensed to be brokers. They don't even have a professional looking website. ( And lets not forget all the actress or actors Wallstreet Warriors prolly hired to play a certain role in Wallstreet Warriors to fill it up a bit) lmao.

the brisard brothers were brokers but in i think 2017 were permanently banned from being brokers because they were marketing and selling certain investments that were not regulated to unqualified (retail) investors

You asked, here is my reply. (Q) What makes the markets move up or down. (A) For the most part, the market moves up & down as stocks are being brought and sold. Footnote: The direction at the time up or down, will be decided by the BROKERS interest period. If the Brokers are engaged in a trading session like they have been with me, then anything is possible. The Brokers are UNSCRUPULOUS and charts don't really matter. Ask any analysts that you trust. Just look how easy it was for them to bring the market down around AAPL, MSFT & GS yesterday after all these companies had better than great quarterly reports. Just remember, follow the BROKERS interest when trading, not your own. You can't beat the house, when the house is made of cards, that the Brokers hold all the Aces. 1LUV PEACE ✌ OG-RB

you don;t know what the hell you are talking about. That is referred to as a "Townhouse" here in South Florida. it is not a "zero lot". It works very much like a Co-op, or a HOA property. The property he bought was at the time a new project in CGrove, and if he bought at the demo stage, (which he likely did), he made at least 10% on it if he sold at the height of the RE downturn.

Rich is someone who is a typical time waster without any successful deal flow. Wasting everybody's time trying to get everyone to work FOR him without any actual capital nor good deals, thinking everyone's stupid. So annoying. I doubt he has any investors as he claimed nor the capital to 'co-invest'. I'm in the VC/PE, these type of hedge fund manager wannabe waste so much time it's unreal.

He does make deals but it takes time to build a business relationship and not just jump into things. He has to see if these fund managers are the real deal. Also I’m sure he didn’t want to put his investors on the show to protect their privacy and tells them about certain managers/funds behind closed doors and not on camera
