check in 进去departure hall过后第一件事就是看 flight information board,接近登机时间我自己还会确定一次才走过去的。不会傻傻只看机票上写的。因为不管是廉价航空或是普通航空都有机会发生这种事,不想要另外花钱和浪费时间,自己要提高警惕。不是等别人通知你。除非是第一次坐飞机的人,不然不会范这种错误。

I can't understand why many people here have such low standard towards airline's responsibilities. As he said the gate was changed at 11:05 and he checked in at 11:15, the staff who checked him in or assist the bag drop should at least mention about the change of gate or update the boarding pass. Why isn't it not the flight company's negligence? For me I fly to various countries 4-5 times each year and changing gate is not that usual, thus flight company should take extra effort to notice the passenger. All I can say is this guy is not very sophisticated but the company should bear the loss for not taking any step to notice the passenger, plus showing misleading information on the boarding pass and boarding board. You shouldn't expect all passengers are street smart to board your flight.

All I can say is the service of the flight company might not as good as others but this is not their fault. Checking boarding gate is definitely passenger's responsibility. I think the gate usually has a screen to show what flight it is right now to board?? For me, every time I look for the gate I will double confirm from the screen. The staffs don't need to mention any changes, is not really their service as a must. Hmm, but I can understand why is he grumpy as his situation. If I missed my flight, I will be grumpy too. However, don't assume that all service lines should have extra services to every customers. When you are at somewhere you are not familiar, you should be more alert. From this video, I can see how his behaviour act like...hmmm

Lost and Sleepless I do believe that he had mentioned that the board and the website didn’t show the change of the gate. Thus, the responsibilities lied on the airlines company. I don’t know why there are so many people blame on the victim.
I’m so sorry to hear that but you cannot only blame Airasia,you have to take a responsibility to yourself. You mentioned that you keep on with your cellphone and when you realized that no one at the boarding gate then you stopped and then realize that it might something happen but if you claver enough you should realize that early and go to ask the Airport assistant. It was wired if the boarding gate only you alone and you should realize that it something happens and not keep on eyes on your phone. Anyway thank you for sharing this so that more people will knows that now lots of Airport won’t announce changing boarding gate,best

其實做air asia 要早到,我上次試過check in machine 有問題,然後去check in counter時,他們員工又離開了幾個,剩下兩個服務一大堆人,搞到我破口大罵,才讓我先。也不知道是不是故意要你miss flight.要不然飛機的hot seat 要給誰坐?

认同,坐飞机基本上我不会跟着boarding pass的号码 跟着departure information display最准
You said that you plane already left at 1:15 pm when you checked with Air Asia staff. You also said that you checked in at 11:15 am and you arrived at the gate at 11:45 am. That mean you had arrived 2 hours before departure and not 3 hours. As a traveler, you should always checked the departure monitor and they are everywhere within the airport. There is never any public broadcast about gate change unless the gate change happen after the staff and passengers are at the gate. You can also use airline and other APP to keep track of your flight and itinerary. I am afraid that the airline is not at fault here and gate change is very common. Whatever printed on the boarding pass is not 100% correct including the seat assignment. It is indeed a learning experience so I am glad you accept it gracefully. I am just another traveler that had my fair share of flying.
