Power stations are serious things that societies need to survive, they power hospitals, transport, lighting, sewerage systems, homes, without them we regress to living in a dark world at the mercy of the sun, weather, and darkness. It has taken centuries to create a society to the levels of safety, self sufficiency, and adaptability and all of it has been achieved via power plants.

Well, the height of the structures, and the thickness of the walls of the stacks, even with the changes due to the point of elevation, would have told one how many charges to set. They trained in demolitions should have pointed this out, and the site supervisor is rather irresponsible in that the charges should have been set to bring the towers down into a huge pile with a Fire Brigade on hand using water to suppress the dust. Why did I write that the supervisor was irresponsible? In 1957 lead paint was still the mainstay of that industry and for smoke pipes it is common to find that asbestos was used in the brick mortar.

How ist it going with "smart meters" in Australia? In Denmark we have had them for years, but they are now replacing them with new ones, which supposedly are better. At the price of what a one person household would use in electricity for a whole year. The "better" part is how they can monitor you even more detailed from minute to minute, and one of the "better" features is probably how they can now cut you off from the grid remotely or control your use of electricity in even more detailed ways. Of course we are not being told anything about this. At the same time it is a wonderful addition to the QR codes, the cashless processing of purchases, the phone and internet surveillance, etc. Remember Romania, where you were not allowed to heat your apartment to more than 16 degrees Celcius?
