For a lake commonly thought of as a polluted "carp central," those are sure some huge, healthy-looking walleye.

A little question guys, I live in Lakeview, and since I am an international student at UVU I don't have a car and a boat. And the nearest and only place for me to fish is Utah Lake state park. I know there are white bass and channels in there but what else I can catch from there easily? I was told that there is a great number of common carp, Walleye, also the largemouth bass of course, and a lot of other fish I can catch in the part but I just never find any of them.........not even bluegill or crappie.......Hope you guys can help me out of this and give me some tip for fishing here, I mean state park. Thank you, guys.

draining yuba and eliminating any structure and spawning habitat for perch had nothing to do with them going away. It was all the pike. If pike get into a lake it's done! there has never been a lake in the midwest or cananda that has pike and everything isnt eaten in a year!

Are you really that stupid . I'm from North Dakota and pike coexist with all others fish in pretty much everybody of water we have here do some research next time before you make such a ignorant comment

The water level went up this year finally, covering structure, and now people are catching perch more then they were years ago along with walleye, wiper, smallmouth, and even a good numebr of big pike. Looks like you were wrong!
