Walleye Fishing lake Geneva, How to! / ft. Diehard Angling

So after scrolling through Facebook and seeing a post from DieHard Angling. Someone I follow on KZbin as well. He had a post saying he had an open spot on his boat to go walleye fishing. I had never spoke to him before, but decided to send a message kind of joking saying that I would go. 24 hours later and I was on his boat catching walleyes.

Back in 1972 I think, the state made a huge stocking of walleyes in Lake Geneva, maybe like 100,000 plus. I would have been 17 in 1974 when we were catching them. My dad and I used to fish them in Williams Bay over the weeds. We would troll until we found them and then stop and cast. I remember several stringers of 10-12 walleyes in that 16 to 18" range over a couple of summers. The best artificial bait back then was a little jointed Cisco Kid plug in either white or yellow.

Heck yeah man sounds like a good time to me. I'm a bass fisherman so anytime I'm fishing for walleye usually with someone that knows what they are doing or has the gear.
