NW Fishing Secrets - they usually are. I’ve never had any negative interactions with them. For one, I’m always playing by the rules, and secondly, I really like that those guys are out looking for those that don’t. Most of us pay for our licenses, check regs, and fish in a manner that shows respect for the rules, our waterways, and most importantly the fish.

That crawdad used to be one of my favorite burbot lures, but the red/black one, on a black jig with a stinger hook in one of the claw, tip it with a chunk of herring, it's in my older vids a few years ago.

Trick of the hard taco she'll is they need to be heated until you smell the roasted corn smell. Once cooked, the shell only breaks where you bite it. Nice vid.

It’s actually the stomach that is coming out of the mouth! Apparently the gas bladder expands so much during ascent it pushes all the internal organs out.

It's an Inmar boat. I believe the motor is a 25 which is plenty to move the boat around with 3 people.

I'm sure you know but for those who might not: consumption advisories by species can be found on WDFW's website. Some water bodies like Lake Roosevelt have strict consumption limits especially for bottom dwelling critters like burbot due to polluted sediments. Sorry to be a buzz kill.
